Nike Flynit Lunar +1
When I first saw the ads, I thought this shoe demonstrating what we could expect in the future. It offered something entirely unique (a seamless upper) and looked really cool.
What I didn’t know was that the engineers at Nike had come up on something really special. This is a breakthrough shoe, and now all the other shoe companies are trying to play catchup.
Yes, it feels a little weird. For years, Brooks, Asics, Saucony, New Balance, and others have been putting out the best products. But Nike, unlike some other corporate behemoths, is showing some serious innovation.
But what about the price tag? These retail at $160 and that’s steep. However, the price is dropping and the shoe is becoming price competitive. Look around and you’ll find them at a price you’re probably more comfortable with.
